AI Grid Generation¶
User: "10-story office, 100' × 200' footprint"
AI analyzes:
- Typical structural bay: 25'×30'
- Column grid suggested:
- East-West: 5 bays @ 25' = 125' (extends beyond)
- North-South: 7 bays @ 30' = 210'
AI recommends:
Grid lines E-W: A, B, C, D, E, F (6 lines @ 25')
Grid lines N-S: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (8 lines @ 30')
User accepts ? Grid created automatically
All 48 grid intersections positioned
Panel placement can reference: "A-3", "C-5", etc.
BIM Import (NEW)¶
One-Click Import:
User: [Import from BIM]
Select file: Project.rvt (Revit)
v7.0 reads:
? Grid lines (48 found)
? Grid labels (A-F, 1-8)
? Floor levels (L1-L10)
? Panel locations (200 panels tagged)

Auto Panel Positioning¶
Grid-Based Placement:
User: Add wall panel at Grid C-3
v7.0 AI:
1. Locates grid intersection C-3
2. Determines panel orientation (N-S or E-W)
3. Positions panel centered on grid
4. Checks adjacent panels (conflicts?)
5. Places panel automatically
Manual positioning: 2-3 minutes per panel
AI positioning: 3 seconds per panel
200 panels: 6.5 hours ? 10 minutes! ??
Clash Detection¶
Grid Conflicts:
AI monitors as panels placed:
? Panel A-2: No conflicts
? Panel A-3: No conflicts
?? Panel A-4: Extends 6" past grid line B
Suggest: Reduce width 6" OR move west 6"
