Create your account¶
One free account at simplestruct.com — sign in with Google, LinkedIn, Autodesk, or your email, and your company’s team forms around it automatically.
A SimpleStruct account is the one account behind everything ConstructiVision does online. It is what you sign in with at simplestruct.com, and it is the same account your CAD workstations link to when they pair. Creating one is free, takes about a minute in a browser, and asks for nothing but a sign-in — no credit card.
Why an account¶
cv-web itself. Signed in, you get your team’s cloud project library, Panel Set Analytics, and your learning progress synced across devices. (Browsing a project someone shares with you needs no account at all — see Share a panel book by link.)
Your CAD seats. Pairing an AutoCAD workstation is a browser sign-in to this account — see Pair your workstation.
Membership and tokens. Plans, the token balance, and the Billing page all hang off the account — see Membership & Tokens and Manage your billing.
Your team. Accounts are organized by company: everyone who signs up with an address at your company’s email domain lands in the same organization automatically, sharing one token balance and one membership. That model is described in Working as a team.
Choose how to sign in¶
Everywhere cv-web asks you to sign in, it shows the same panel with four doors in:
Continue with Google, Continue with LinkedIn, or Continue with Autodesk — use an account you already have; no new password to invent. The first time you continue with a provider, your SimpleStruct account is created from it. The Autodesk button is a natural fit if you already sign in to AutoCAD with an Autodesk account — using the same one later lets your CAD seat pair hands-free (see Pair your workstation).
Email and password — enter your work email, choose a password (8 characters or more), click Need an account? Sign up, then Create Account.
There is also Email me a sign-in link instead — a convenience for later sign-ins: it emails a one-click link to an address that already has an account, so it works even if you signed up through a provider and never set a password. It does not create new accounts.
Important
Whichever door you use, the email address on the account must be a company address. Sign-ups from public and disposable providers (gmail.com, outlook.com, yahoo.com, and the like) are refused with “please sign up with a company email” — because your organization, the team that shares tokens and licenses, is keyed to your company’s email domain. One address at a public domain can’t define a company. The full reasoning, and what your team shares, is in Working as a team.
Signing in means agreeing to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy — both are linked at the bottom of the panel.
Your first sign-in, step by step¶
Go to simplestruct.com, open cv-web, and click Sign in on the welcome screen. (The Pricing page, the Analytics page, and the download page offer the same sign-in when you arrive signed out — any of them works, and when you’re brand new the panel is headed “Start a free 7-day trial”. Same panel, same account.)
Pick your door. A provider button hands your whole browser tab to Google, LinkedIn, or Autodesk — it is a full-page redirect, not a pop-up, so don’t be surprised when cv-web disappears for a moment. Approve the sign-in there.
You return through a brief “Signing you in…” page, and land back where you started — now signed in. The round trip must finish in the same browser where it began: avoid starting in a private/incognito window, and open any emailed sign-in link in the browser you requested it from. (If a sign-in ever loops or drops you back signed out, see Troubleshooting → cv-web (simplestruct.com).)
You can tell it worked from the top bar: on the right you’ll see a membership badge (a brand-new account shows Trial), your panel-credit balance, and your name. Click it for the user menu — your email, your membership and credits at a glance, and links to Billing history, Learning progress, Buy credits or upgrade, and Download ConstructiVision-CAD.
What a new account starts with¶
What you begin with depends on whether you are the first from your company:
The first person from your company creates the organization simply by signing up — it is keyed to your email domain. That first signup starts the team’s 7-day free trial of full membership and grants 10 tokens to the team’s balance. No credit card is needed, and the trial tokens never expire.
Teammates who sign up later with an address at the same domain join the existing organization automatically — nothing to configure, no invitation to send. They share the team’s membership state and token balance as they stand; the trial and its tokens are granted once per organization, not once per person.
Either way, what the trial unlocks, what a token buys, and the plans that follow the trial are all covered in Membership & Tokens.
