Using cv-web¶
The browser side of ConstructiVision — your projects, analytics, and account at simplestruct.com.
cv-web is ConstructiVision’s browser companion. It is where your organization’s account lives — sign-in, plans, and tokens — and it adds capabilities that make sense in a browser rather than in AutoCAD:
Cloud projects — a shared project library for your team. Save a project from any machine, open it from any other, and import
.cvpproject files by drag and drop.Panel viewing and editing — browse any saved project read-only for free; full in-browser editing unlocks with a membership.
Panel Set Analytics — upload a shop-drawing set and see where every panel sits within ranges observed across the corpus, with a downloadable report.
Learning progress — check off Help Center guides and tutorials as you complete them, synced to your account.
Account & billing — sign-in for your CAD seats, plan management, and token purchases.
How cv-web pairs with the CAD plugin¶
cv-web and the AutoCAD plugin share ConstructiVision’s native file formats, so a project can move freely between them:
CAD → cv-web. Export a panel, site, or whole project from AutoCAD as a
.cvpanel,.cvsite, or.cvpfile, then open or drag-drop it into cv-web to view, share, or analyze it.cv-web → CAD. A project saved in cv-web is a
.cvpfile; bring it back into the plugin to continue in AutoCAD.Your CAD seat connects to the same organization account by signing in — see Pair your workstation for the one-time sign-in steps.
Moving your data between cv-web and CAD is always free: the native formats are transport and storage, not deliverables.
Guides in this section¶
Sign up at simplestruct.com with Google, LinkedIn, Autodesk, or your company email — why a company address is required, and what a brand-new account starts with.
Open, create, save, and delete projects in your team’s cloud library; move browser-local work to
the cloud; import .cvp files by drag and drop.
Upload a shop-drawing set and read the results — project typicality, per-panel placements, and the PDF report.
Check off Help Center guides on the Learning progress page and keep your progress on every device.
Copy a self-contained share URL for the open project — what the recipient sees without an account,
and when to send a .cvp file instead.
Read the Billing page: membership status, the token ledger, invoices in the Stripe portal, and authorized workstations.
Link an AutoCAD seat to your simplestruct.com account: the browser sign-in, what pairing unlocks, and re-pairing when a link expires.
What cv-web’s editor and AI features cost, what a token buys, the free trial, and signing in your CAD seat.
