419 — Opening a project¶
Band 400 · cv-web
Note
This lesson also exists in the browser. Work it in ConstructiVision on the web — same steps, same values, so you can follow either and end up with the same panel.
Getting there¶
File → Open Project.
What you see¶
Each project is listed with enough to tell them apart without opening one:
Name |
what you called it |
Panels |
how big the job is — the sample building carries 60 |
Date |
when it was last saved |
Choose one and press Open. It loads into the same editor you have been working in. Cancel leaves your current work untouched.
Why this is not just a file picker¶
Projects are kept against your organisation, not against this browser or this machine. That has one consequence worth knowing before you need it:
the person who opens a project does not have to be the person who saved it.
Someone else on your organisation can pick up what you saved, from their own machine, without anyone sending a file. That is the reason projects live in the org rather than in a folder.
