Command & Toolbar Reference¶
One page: every ConstructiVision toolbar button, ConstructiVision menu item and command you type – with its icon, the command, what it does and the lesson that teaches it.
ConstructiVision installs three toolbars – ConstructiVision, ConstructiVision Site & Tools and ConstructiVision Crane – and one pull-down menu. Every toolbar button has a lesson; the Lesson column links to it. Some actions are typed at the AutoCAD Command: prompt (the tutorial checkers, account pairing, revision stepping and a few utilities). Commands are not case-sensitive, and CSV is the standard “is the plug-in loaded?” check. If a toolbar is not visible, choose Show CV Toolbar on the ConstructiVision menu. Hover any button for its tooltip.
The tables list the buttons in the order they sit on each toolbar, left to right.
ConstructiVision toolbar¶

Projects, drawings and the panel. Each feature button opens that feature’s dialog for the current panel and redraws the panel when you click OK. The same dialogs are also reachable from the Main Panel Details feature checklist. The six phase buttons at the right end show the panel one build stage at a time: from All, a phase button shows only that phase; with a phase view up, it adds or removes that phase. A phase view is never saved.

ConstructiVision Crane toolbar¶

Warning
A crane station never straddles the slab edge. It belongs entirely outside the wall clearance, on prepared subgrade, or entirely inboard of the closure strip, on the poured slab – never in the band between them. Judge it by the machine’s tracks or outriggers, not the centre of a drawn circle. Draw Crane, Crane Pick and Crane Capacity Check put the crane exactly where you type or pick it and do not test the slab edge. Check every station yourself; siting belongs to the lift engineer and the engineer of record.

Command |
What it does |
Lesson |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Crane Configuration |
Pick the crane machine and the weight display units. Every capacity verdict scores against this machine. |
Crane Catalog |
List every machine in the crane catalog with its capacity, and whether its load chart is verified or only representative. Changes nothing. |
Crane Weight Units |
Switch the weight display between tonnes, short tons and kips. Display only. |
Draw Crane |
Draw one crane at a point you pick, and set the machine. Does not check the slab edge. |
Crane Pick |
Score one pick from a crane position you pick: select a panel, and the crane is drawn reaching it with the verdict. Does not check the slab edge. |
Crane Capacity Check |
Score every panel against one crane position and report the refusals. Needs the cast record from Cast Layout Draw or Construction Layout. Draws nothing. Does not check the slab edge. |
Plan Picks |
Plan every pick in mark order after Construction Layout, keeping each station wholly on the slab or beyond the wall clearance. Refuses a site with no drawn slab. |
Account & licensing (typed)¶
Pairing links an AutoCAD seat to your simplestruct.com account — one browser sign-in, nothing to type. The normal route is CV → Sign In (Link Workstation) or the first-run offer; the commands below start the same flow. Full walkthrough: Pair your workstation.
Command |
What it does |
|---|---|
Start the browser sign-in that links this workstation to your account. |
Pairing fallback: paste the one-time pickup code when the browser hand-off is blocked. |
Show the current licensing and token status. |
Show this drawing’s licensing fingerprint (per-drawing UUID). |
Export to ConstructiVision Web (typed)¶
Command |
What it does |
|---|---|
Export the current panel to ConstructiVision Web (the browser companion). |
Export the current site drawing to ConstructiVision Web. |
Export the construction layout to ConstructiVision Web. |
Revisions (typed)¶
Command |
What it does |
|---|---|
Swap the newest save-time backup in as the current drawing — undo across saves. |
Step forward again after |
Support (typed)¶
Command |
What it does |
|---|---|
Reload the ConstructiVision modules (support command). |
Check your tutorial work (typed)¶
Every tutorial lesson ends with an automated check your work step: ConstructiVision grades the open drawing against the lesson’s expected result and prints a report card. Run the checker in the drawing the lesson builds.
Command |
